With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas P. DuRussel of Vassar, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Arant-DuRussel; his father Dale DuRussel; his stepchildren, Robert Ostin and Terri Parkinson (John); his grandchildren, Jon Bolton (Victoria), Kourtnie Bolton, Peyton Ostin, Jacob Parkinson and Alexandra Ostin; his great grandchild Paisley Bolton; his siblings, Dale J. DuRussel (Pamela), Rebecca DuRussel and Dan DuRussel; his nephews, Jacob DuRussel (Sabrina) and Vincent DuRussel; his niece Victoria DuRussel; and his pets, Betsy, Josie and WeeBit. He is also survived by extended family, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hanlin Funeral Home - Vassar (1148 W Saginaw Rd, Vassar, MI 48768). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Travis Mills Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
