He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard O'Rourke and Ruth O'Rourke (Goff); his girlfriend Patricia Jean Crandell; his sister Christine Hilliker; his children, Sherri Sanders of Gaylord, MI and Robert O'Rourke (Hattie) of Williston, FL; his grandchildren, Zachary, Thomas, Hannah, Krystyna, Johnathon and River; his siblings, Patrick O'Rourke (Ann), Mary Anne Brink (John) and William Michael O'Rourke; and his brother-in-law Bob Hilliker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
