He was predeceased by: his father Richard Dale Burd Sr.; his wife Maria (Pataky); his daughter Carmen Long; and his sister Debbie Wheeler. He is survived by: his daughters, Bobbie Jo Meadows of Mancelona, Amber Burd of Bellaire, Hope Burd of North Dakota and Randi Jean Burd of Gaylord; his mother Carolyn North (Sims) of Gaylord; his brother Rick Burd (Cindy) of Gaylord; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Kayla), Samantha (Dylan), Clayton, Destiny, Josh, Madison, Conner, Owen and Lucas; and his great grandchild Ryder.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
