Mildred Laverne left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, David P. Gilbert and Mary Lillian Gilbert (Freeman); her husband Robert E. "Bob" Robinson; her siblings, Hugh Gilbert (Jean), Harold Gilbert (Doris), Kenneth Gilbert (Joyce) and Dorothy Rice (Harold); and her daughter-in-law Kim L. Robinson (Loshaw).

She is survived by: her children, Kendall W. Robinson (Dorothy) and Douglas W. Robinson; and her nephew Larry Gilbert (Harriet).

“Millie was so kind and caring of others. I often would see her outside Vanderbilt Community Church changing the sign with a new encouraging message for those who would pass by. She had a sweet spirit, and her warm smile would brighten anyone's day. She will be greatly missed by so many. I will miss seeing her each week at church and will always think of her as I drive by the outdoor sign. May you feel the Lord's comfort during this time and find peace in knowing she is resting with Jesus.”
