She was predeceased by: her parents, William Paul and Lucy Watkins (Cassidy); her husband Richard Costello; her siblings, William Carl Watkins and Judy; her brother-in-law John Mertes; and her daughter-in-law Melissa Anne Costello.

She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Costello of Mio, Paul Costello (Ronnalee) of Gaylord, Patrick Costello of Alanson, Michele Paolino (Paul) of Vanderbilt and Edgar "Ed" Costello of Gaylord; her grandchildren, Jessica Pieper (Dan), Betsy Buckler, Taylor Seidell (Todd), Josh Costello (Brooke), Meganne Costello, Kaylynne Costello, Terran Costello and Anthony Paolino; her siblings, Russell Watkins of Solvang, CA, Cynthia Hoover (Richard) of Gaylord and Janet Rybiski (John) of Wayland; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Watkins of Frederic. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
