It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Asmus of Vandalia, Michigan, born in Niles, Michigan, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Asmus and Lois Asmus; and his brother Garry Asmus. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Asmus of Vandalia; his children, Edward Asmus (Angela) of Vandalia, Amy Asmus of Niles, Matthew Asmus (Abby) of Marcellus and Kristin Asmus of Granger, Indiana; his grandchildren, Bailey, Abigail, Kaden, Charlotte, Landon and Carson Asmus; his sister Sue Benjamin (Bart) of Niles; and his sister-in-law Sandy Asmus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family prefers contributions be made in Steve's memory to Cass County Cancer Service, Inc., Post Office Box 676, Edwardsburg, Michigan 49112.
