She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Elliott and Hazel Elliott (Hughes); her son Louis Raymond Desrochers, Jr.; and her siblings, Kathleen Lindsey, Florence Siegwart, William James Elliott and Roy Charles "Sonny" Elliott, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Louis Raymond Desrochers; her daughter Shonna Olivier (Rene) of Elkhart; her granddaughters, Brigitte Olivier of Vail and Joele Leith (David) of Edwardsburg; her great grandchildren, Jon Leith and Jade Leith; and her sister Rose Marie Lindgren (Ken) of Toivola, Michigan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family prefers contributions in Betty's memory to Cass County Council on Aging, Post Office Box 5, Cassopolis, Michigan 49031.
