He was predeceased by: his father Hilburn Carpenter; and his sister Janet Protcor. He is survived by: his wife Kay Carpenter; his sons, Aaron Carpenter (Joyce) and Jason Carpenter; his grandchildren, Cohen and Evyn Carpenter; and his brothers, David Carpenter (Judy) and John Carpenter (Susie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
