With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Hirschmann (Utica, Michigan), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 26, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hirschmann and Anna Hirschmann. He is survived by: his wife Joann Hirschmann; and his children, John (Julie), Lori Plati (Frank), Dave (Christine) and Robert (Denise). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
