He is survived by: his children, Cristie DeYoung (Tom), John Jr. (Mary), Howard and Dan; his grandchildren, Jessica (Jennifer) of John, III, Matt Hicks, Christopher DeYoung (Rebecca), Stephanie Young (Christopher), Tamara Yaxley (Duncan), Heather Schade (Michael), Jacob Hicks, Charlene Hicks and Hannah Hicks; and his great grandchildren, Vivian, Eleanor, Caleb and Jayne Hicks.
