With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Alton Powell (Utica, Michigan), born in Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on April 20, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Barbara Jean. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Bishop, Jim Powell (Sandy), Larry Powell (Sharlene), Randy Powell, Mary Martinez (Raul), Kathy Jugowicz (Vince) and Karen Dressig (Kevin); his siblings, Laureen Kelly (James) and Dorothy Woods; his wife Linda Powell; and his siblings, Robert and Carolyn. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren.
