Moldenhauer (Utica, Michigan), born in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 99, on November 28, 2023. He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Tripke; his daughter-in-law Diane Moldenhauer; and his brother Harold "Whitey" (Alice). He is survived by: his children, Judy Meilaender (Gilbert), Lucky Moldenhauer, Jeri Young (Ron) and Dawn Slade; his granddaughter Lisa Wardlaw (Todd); and his children, Marc Moldenhauer, Peter Meilaender (Eva), Ellen Meilaender, Hannah Timmermans (Chris), Derek Meilaender, Brent Young, Chad Young (Heike), Jamie Young, Tara Bryant (Jimmy) and Patrick Slade (Jillian). He is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, gifts are encouraged to the Detroit Lutheran High School Association, St. Peters Lutheran Church, Eastpointe, and Residential Hospice of Michigan.

He always had a positive outlook, smiling and definitely with a joyful song that he would express with great enthusiasm. He loved to sing! Today he is singing with his Lord Jesus, along with his love, Mrs Elsie, who he cherished. He will be missed but we look forward to singing with him again, in heaven.”
