He is survived by: his parents, Beth Shepard (Kevin) and Dennis Walker; his sister Michelle Shawver (Evan); his nieces and nephews, Evan, Addison, Emmett and Mariam; his mother-in-law Shelley Brady (late John); his brother-in-law Matt Brady (Nicole); and his grandmother Ruth Harris (late Gerald).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Utica (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317).
In honor of Derek his family is requesting donations to any Mental Health Organization.
