She was predeceased by: her mother Elsa Modersohn; her brother Skip Brand (late Ann); her son Mark; her grandson Anthony; and her nephew Paul.
She is survived by: her husband Palmer Hipps; her children, James Callan (Sue), Lisa Calabrese, Laura Burke, Robin Martin and Joseph Hipps; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Yonka (Aaron), Michael Burke (Tiffany), Robert Warrick, Jennifer Mixaychareun (Paramy), Philip Martin (Noelle) and Stuart Martin (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Molly, Ashley, Troy, Lily, Zachariah, Luca, William, Enzo, June and Jacqueline; and her nephews, Kip (late Carol), Mark (late Virginia) and Eric (Teresa).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Special Olympics.
