She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Fortin and Dorothy Fortin (Dickison); and her brother Richard Fortin. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Cowie; her children, Kim Perez and Denise Briggs (Travis); her grandchildren, Nathaniel Briggs, Connor Briggs and Kali Perez; and her sister-in-law Marie Fortin.
