It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sally Joyce Sakon of Unionville, Michigan, born in Pinconning, Michigan, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Gene Sakon; her brothers, Arthur (Virginia), Wallace (Shirley) and Francis (Jane); and her son Scott Harder.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Harder, Kris Sakon (Cheryl), Kelly Wise (Joseph) and Joshua Sakon; her grandchildren, Becky McKee (Earl), Jamie Harder (Mike Tkacz), Sam Anker (Ryan), Chuck Harder (Jill), Julie Sakon and Sandi Wise; her great grandchildren, Alexa Beach (Carson), Ayden Torres, Brianna McKee, Kylie McKee, Aiden Sprague, Gunner Goss and Madisyn Evans; her sister Betty Tyce (Rudy); her grandson Stephen Weidman; and her daughter-in-law Paula Harder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Consolata Church (8370 Unionville Rd, Sebewaing, MI 48759).
Memorial donations may be given to Our Lady Consolata.
