She was predeceased by: her parents, John Igler and Rose Igler (Pretzer); her husband Lyle Houthoofd; her brothers-in-law, Andrew, Erwin, Orville and Leland Houthoofd; her aunt Felice Vermeersch; and her grandmother Pretzer.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Genow (Steve), Timothy J. Houthoofd, Tamara Orloff (Dave), Trudy Carpenter (Dave), Tracy Kindler (Jeff) and Tricia Smith (Dave); her grandchildren, Brianne Genow (Keith Barber), Maren Perrett (Jeff), Kyle Genow, Timothy J. Houthoofd II, Adam Holland, Alex Holland, Nathan Carpenter, Matthew Carpenter (Jennifer), Jessica Kindler, Gabrielle Kindler, Keoni Kindler, Valerie Smith and Maria Smith; her great grandchildren, Maddox, Milo, Eddison, Kylan, Addilynne, Colt Riley, Avery, Elise, Katelyn and Brixton; her sister Sandra Furst (John); her siblings-in-law, Roland Houthoofd (Shirley) and Dorothy Houthoofd; and also Lee Houthoofd (Kim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
