He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Theodore and Leota Mae Heidt (Neal); his wife Sally Louise; his daughter Constance May Horst; and his siblings, Ted Heidt and Nila DeWolf.
He is survived by: his children, Lynette Eremia (Bill) of Unionville and Bob Heidt (Brook); his son-in-law Jeff Horst of Sebewaing; his grandchildren, Bill Eremia (Eric Pflum) of Chicago, April Gremel (Josh) of Unionville, Jamie Horst of Unionville, Chris Horst (Amanda) of Akron, Steven Heidt of Bay City and Allison Dickson (Jordan) of Reese; and his great grandchildren, Anna, Jacob Gremel, Ethan, Olivia Pflum-Eremia, Ralphie, Mason, Bella, Christopher and Charlotte Horst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
