It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Rose Simpson (Unionville, Michigan), born in Dearborn, Michigan, who passed away on October 28, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Brecht and Helen Brecht (Werbicky); her daughter Jill Hooker; and her great grandchild Brody Scott McCallum. She is survived by: her husband Jim Simpson of Unionville; her children, Julie McCallum (Scott) of Lapeer and Dan Simpson (Sarah) of Metamora; her sons-in-law, Jeff Hooker of Metamora and Joe Pillars, Jr. of Lapeer; her grandchildren, Conner McCallum (Megan), Payton McCallum (Monica), Colin McCallum (Micaela), Ian McCallum (Jenna) and Joseph "J. T."; and her siblings, Ed Brecht (Judy) of Lapeer, Candy (Ron), Roland Brecht (Cindy) of Harsens Island and Cheri Bohn (David) of Unionville. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews and great nieces & great nephews.
