He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Ewald and Suzanna Ewald (Shane); and his wife Dolores "Dotsie" Young. He is survived by: his sons, John Ewald of Unionville, Clark (Pam Ewald) and Stephen (Dana Ewald); and his grandchildren, David Ewald of Unionville, Roger (Melissa Ewald), Megan Bollon of Indian River, Becky (Wesley Beegle), Luke (Karlee Ewald), Samantha Ewald of North Carolina, Jonathon (Ashley Bennett), Rebecca (Michael Barrows) and Lauren (Chad Keiser). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
