With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty C. Engelhard of Unionville, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 9, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Straehle and Frances Straehle (May); her husband Lavern; her great grandchild Baby Engelhard; her sister Eleanore; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Breitmeyer of Unionville, Marie and Donald Stoll of Saginaw.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Engelhard of Unionville and Annette Skibbe (James) of North Judson, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Marissa Engelhard of Osage Beach, Nathan Engelhard (Amy) of Unionville, Kayla Budewitz (Trevor) of Dubuque and Kimberlyn Thomas (Bryan) of Valparaiso, Indiana.; her great grandchildren, Lawson, Jordana, Madeline and Amelia Engelhard; and her sister Marjorie McCormick (Cindy Engelhard) of Flat Rock. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
