She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Hugh Rowbotham and Isabelle Edna Rowbotham (Cripps); her husband Duane Ackerman; and her brother James Rowbotham. She is survived by: her children, Gayle Ortner (Kevin) of Bay City, Christene Swartzendruber (Dan) of Essexville, Caroline Robison (Brody) of Grayling, Marjorie Ackerman of Rochester and James Ackerman of Ormond Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Hilary Rau (Courtney), Devin Ortner, Kaleb Ortner (Mackenzie), Jason Swartzendruber, Jessica Swartzendruber, Austin Robison, Skyler Robison (Brady Bowling) and Rachel Ackerman (Jake Younger); and her sisters, Cora Varty, Jackie Bowman and Jane Rowbotham. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to ACW Ambulance or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
