He is survived by: his spouse Doris Pauline Mechling; his nieces, Cheryl Black (Brent Stump) of Bristol, IN, Pat Sullivan (Scott) of Edwardsburg, MI and Pam Ward (Doug) of Three Rivers, MI; and his nephew Robert Black (Jackie) of Bristol, IN.
Memorial donations in memory of Howard may be made to Caring Circle Hospice at Home or Kessington Community Church.
