He is survived by: his wife Susan E. Platz; his grandchild Jordan Vanwelsenaers (Todd) of Sterling Heights, MI; his children, Paige Tobin (Liam Lundy) of Chicago, IL, Riley Sandy (Dylan) of Centreville, MI, Claire Tobin of Battle Creek, MI and Allison Rygg of Baroda, MI; his great grandchildren, K'alyiah and Kingston; and his siblings, Gary Phelps of Marcellus and Mary Lou Krah of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
