He was predeceased by: his siblings, Giuseppe Porpiglia, Paola Porpiglia, Filippo Porpiglia, Antonino Porpiglia, Pietro Porpiglia and Vincenzo Porpiglia.

He is survived by: his wife Vincenza "Gina"; his sons, Antonino "Nino" Porpiglia (Nici) of Union, MI and Domenico "Dominic" Porpiglia (Rosa) of Goshen; his grandsons, Antonino Fortunato Porpiglia and Vincenzo Giuseppe Porpiglia; his brothers-in-law, Rocco Corsaro of Italy, Giuseppe Corsaro of Canada, Giovanni Corsaro of Canada and Franco Corsaro of Italy; and his cousin Vincenzo Saia of Italy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Church.
