He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence V. Gillette and Mable Edith Gillette (Trygstad); his brother Terry Gillette; his parents-in-law, Dewane and Letah AcMoody; and his sister-in-law Linda Waite (Don).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gillette of Union City; his children, Nicole Hammond (Jeff) of East Leroy, Lance Fraley (Linda) of Union City, Joseph Fraley of Battle Creek, Alex Gillette of Union City and Kaylin Hoppe (Josh) of Vicksburg; his sisters, Jill Gillette and Lori Posthumus (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Gillette, Vernon AcMoody (Janice) and Brian AcMoody (Kelly). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren.
