With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Marcile Scherry of Union City, Michigan, born in Hastings, Michigan, who passed away on June 22, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Chase and Mary Chase (Woodruff); her half-siblings, Darlene, Dean and Alva; and her foster brother David Crowell.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Wyman of California, John Scherry (Leisa) of Union City and Steve Scherry (Ashley) of Battle Creek; her half-siblings, Danny Woodruff and Rosie McCown of California; her foster sister Sheryl Burlingame of Union City; and her caregiver Rusty Hampton of Union City. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
