He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph J. Underwood and Cleo Underwood (Holt); and his siblings, Billy Joe Underwood, Fred Underwood and Fayretta McPheron.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn L. Lorance; his children, Fred Underwood of Huntsville, AL, Cleo Currier (Ben) of Sturgis and Jessie Underwood (Rachael) of Richland; and his grandchildren, Tabitha Shaffer (T. J.), Savanah Carr (Nick), Samantha Haley, Izabella Currier, Brody Currier and Avery Miller-Underwood. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
