He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Beard and Barbara Beard (Moore); his son Jason Beard (Jayna) of Sturgis; and his grandson Sawyer Lindsey. He is survived by: his former wife Connie Hart; his wife Becky Smith (Wilson); his daughter Caterina Yoder (Scott) of Sturgis; his stepchildren, Johnny Smith (Bernadette) of East Leroy, Lonnie Smith (Pam) of Union City and Kellie Lindsey (Glenn) of East Leroy; his siblings, Kathleen Waldshmit of South Carolina, Margaret Probst (Andy) of Jackson and Chris Roberts (Marc) of St. Johns; his grandchildren, Kyle Bruischart, David Bruischart (Nicole), Lexie Emerick (Madison) and Cole Campbell; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Dani Smith, Shawnee Smith, McKenna Smith, Jordan Smith, Riley Smith, Gavin Lindsey and Schale Lindsey; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Wyatt, Oakley, Dakota and Maura. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
