She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Doubleday and Margaret Doubleday (Aldrich). She is survived by: her husband John L. Christy; and her children, Randy Christy of Union City, Ivanne Spooner (Dean) of Union City, James "Bill" Christy (Brenda) of Layton, UT, Bridget Putnam (Monte) of Union City and Katrish "Trish" McCavit (Shaun) of Quincy. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
