With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elaine Joyce Wood of Union City, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Girard and Mary Girard (Atkinson); her husband Winston Wood; her son Timothy McNall; and her siblings, Peggy Dunn, David Girard and Mark Gerard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Vaughn of Rockvale, TN and Jillane Hill (Darren) of Sturgis; her grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle Kanouse of Rockvale, TN, Megan Gauthier (Jacob) of Sturgis and Joshua Hill (Cassidy) of Three Rivers; her great grandchildren, Ava, Rylie and Addison; her sisters, Lynette Girard (Tim Grimm) of Drummond Island, Donna Hull (Greg) of Union City and Susan Wilkinson of Union City; her sisters-in-law, Jin Dart Gerard of Union City and Mary Ann Girard of Windsor, CO; her close friend Judy Waffle of Union City; and also Phillip.
A reception was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation (1276 Tate Trl, Union City, MI 49094).
