In loving memory of Arleen Balowski of Union City, Michigan, born in Ecorse, Michigan, who departed this world on November 11, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Abercrombie and Elizabeth Abercrombie (Lucas); her siblings, William Abercrombie, James Abercrombie and Irene Hoover; her daughter-in-law Connie Balowski; her grandchildren, Angie Balowski and Billy Balowski; and her great grandchild Charles McVehil.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Balowski (Roxanne) of Lake, MI, Ronald Balowski (Deborah) of Coldwater, MI and David Balowski (Tracey) of Bronson, MI; her siblings, George Abercrombie (Elfriede "Suzy") of Augusta, GA, Christine Quinn (James) of Dearborn, MI and Dureen Abercrombie of Woodhaven, MI; and her grandchildren, Shawn Balowski, Chad Balowski (Sarah), Jessica Michael (Jeremy), Aaron Balowski (Emily), Michael Balowski (Sarah) and Sierra McVehil (Danny). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation (1276 Tate Trl, Union City, MI 49094). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
