He is survived by: his children, Ryan Hernalsteen of Traverse City, Scott Hernalsteen of Shelby Township, Cyndi Hernalsteen of Bad Axe and Denise Goodier of Ubly. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
