She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Vatter; her parents, Paul Gatz and Margaret Gatz (Shagena); her children, Robert Vatter and Debbie Vatter; her brother Peter Gatz; her brothers-in-law, Jerry and Harold Vatter; and her parents-in-law, Robert and Margaret Vatter.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Vatter (Thane) of Ubly and Michael Vatter (Weiner) of St. Joe; her daughter-in-law Jill Vatter (Field) of Lansing; her grandchildren, James Vatter of Lansing, John Vatter (Jenson) of Lansing, Rhea Merriman (Michael) of Snover, Zachary Vatter of Houghton and Reese Vatter of Saranac; her great grandchildren, Grace Merriman of Snover, Bobby Vatter of Lansing and Olivia Merriman of Snover; and her close friend Pepsi of Ubly.
