He was predeceased by: his sister Tammy; and his grandparents, Clarence Rumptz, Vivian Rumptz, Mike Grifka and Agnes Grifka.
He is survived by: his wife Grifka Electric; his children, Jamie Booms (Matthew) of Harbor Beach, Jerry Grifka of Holland and Grace Grifka of Big Rapids; his siblings, Tina Pysher (Brian) of Flint and Darrell Vanky Grifka (Virginia) of St. Louis, Missouri; his parents-in-law, Anthony Koroleski and Jackie Koroleski of Kinde; and his nieces and nephews, Nichole, Adam, Mason, Aidan, Drew and Reann.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Dave's family, care of his wife, Denise.
