He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Gornowicz and Sophie Gornowicz (Wrubel); his wife Ruth Ann; and his brother Gerald Gornowicz. He is survived by: his brother Rod Gornowicz; his nieces and nephews, Ray Gornowicz (Ruth), Charles Gornowicz, Paul Gornowicz, Kathy Rumptz (Gary), Sheryl Gornowicz-Kramis (Todd) and Randy Gornowicz (Cathy); his cousin Larry Gornowicz; and his brothers-in-law, Raymond Rothe (Darlene) and Richard Rothe (Sharon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
