It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl J. Franzel of Ubly, Michigan, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Franzel; and his sisters, Deloris Perkins (James) and Joeva Bukoski (Harry). He is survived by: his wife Ilene Franzel (Weltin); and his children, Debra Mordus (John), Annette Gusa (Rich), Carla Trigger (Carl), Michelle Turcott (Tim), Theresa Franzel, Dean Weltin (Ella) and Steven Franzel (Laura). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
