He was predeceased by : his parents, John Janish and Elizabeth Janish (Weishuhn). He is survived by : his children, Jeff (Barb), Ron (Adam), Darrell (Tiffany) and Nicki; and his siblings, Terry (Darlene) and Laura Henderson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral Home (15 Maple Ridge Rd, Twining, MI 48766).
