She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Thelma Mae Gilland (Leonard); her husband James Silas; her son Russell Sutton; her grandson Josiah "JoJo" Steven Sutton; her great grandchild Josiah Steven Sutton; her son-in-law Lewis Sokolowski; and her siblings, Maryanne Moses, Leonard Gilland, Willard Gilland, Dick Gilland, Russell Gilland, Melvin Gilland and Bob Gilland.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Sokolowski (Arthur) of Montague and James Sutton (Marcy); and her siblings, Lake, Crindia Sokolowski of Walkerville and Steven Sutton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
