He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony McDermott and Dorothea McDermott (Hoth); and his brother Terry McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Guilbert; his children, Sean Patrick McDermott (Aubrey Forsythe-McDermott) and Erin Colleen Sircher (Garth); his grandchild Fira Forsythe-McDermott; and his siblings, Tim McDermott (Catherine) and Barbara Kochanski (Joe).
