He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Vanderboegh and Verna Vanderboegh (Medbury) of Holton, Michigan.; his son Steven Vanderboegh (Roberta); his sister Joanne; his brother-in-law Ron Dalton; his brother Jack Vanderboegh; his niece Jennifer Vanderboegh (Marjorie Vanderboegh); and his nephew Kenny Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Zola Osborne; his daughters, Vicki Hawes (Fritz) and Connie Bruursema (Brian); his grandchildren, Levi Hawes (Shelby Howland), Ashley Vanderboegh, Adam Hawes (Taylor), Joshua Bruursema, Alex Vanderboegh and Mikalia Johnson (Kelvin); his sister-in-law Julie Vanderboegh; his nephews, Leo Dalton and Jack Vanderboegh; and his niece MinSuk Dalton.
In lieu of flowers, Ron has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
