We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2018, at the age of 89, Laverne Medendorp (Twin Lake, Michigan), born in Muskegon, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Ida; his siblings, Orwin Medendorp, Edward Medendorp, John Medendorp, Jeanette Osterhart and Verna Hoeker; his son-in-law Lewis Streeter; and also, Harold Brooks and Eva Brooks.
He is survived by: his son Mike; his friend Bob Anderson; his wife Lois; his children, Deborah Streeter of Corpus Christi, TX, Michael Medendorp of Muskegon and Barbara Brown (Bruce) of Norton Shores; his grandchildren, Jeff Newcomb, Nathan Medendorp, Kari Parnell (Matthew) and James Socol; and his great grandchildren, Dagan Medendorp, Lena Parnell and Elliot Parnell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Laverne may be given to: Pound Buddies Animal Shelter & Adoption Center, Viking Burn Camp, or Harbor Hospice.
