He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilford Viilo and Adele Leone Viilo (Hanes); his wife Cathy; his sibling Lake; his children, Sonya Viilo and Lonny Villo; his siblings, Kevin Viilo (Racquel), Robert Viilo, Lori Viilo and Lynne VanSligtenhorst (Abraham); and his nephew Chris VanSligtenhorst.
