He is survived by: his parents, Jim Benson and Jana Benson (Ellison); his wife Kathy Benson; his sons, Ghaige Benson (E'lyse), Brody Benson and Hunter Benson (Savanna); his stepchildren, Andrew Hammersly, Kelsey Hammersly (Nick) and Thomas Hammersley; his grandsons, Briar, Waylon and Boone Benson; and his brother Brian Benson (Melissa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
