He was predeceased by: his sisters, Babe Kniat and Dotty Driver. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy" R. Petrie; his children, Shelly Burr (Thomas), Tammy Menke and David Petrie (Julia); his grandchildren, Curtis (Shanda), Amanda (Kirk), Miranda, Nathalie and Niklas; his siblings, Henry Petrie, Sue Hunt and Marge Beekman; and his brother-in-law Erwin Kniat. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation or Twin Lake United Methodist Church.
