She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennings Palmer and Dorothy Palmer; her husband Stanley C. Swears; her brother Barry Palmer (Delores); and her brother-in-law Dr. Lawrence Grennan.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Chatfield, Denise Felt, Deanna Stevens (Dan Adsit), Steven Swears, Dawn Burrington (Tony Burrington), Stanley Swears Jr. (Dawn) and Alyson Swears; and her sister Barbara Grennan. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
