He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Albert and Agnes May Sturdavant (Palmer); his wife Doris Mae Sorenson; his daughter Linda Sturdavant; and his siblings, Albert, Robert, Darrel, Bernard and Loretta.
He is survived by: his former wife Gladys Sawyer; his daughters, Laura L. Sturdavant (Bruce Schneider) of Frankfort, Dixie L. Minch (Garry) of Thompsonville and Elizabeth I. Fenner (Jerome) of Fountain; his grandchildren, Michael Hopstaken, Benjamin Sturdavant, Rebecca Hopstaken and Joseph Fenner; and his sister Vickie Christie of Tustin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
