She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thamer and Ruth Thamer (Campbell); her former husband Alex Gulutzen; and her brother John Thamer. She is survived by: her husband David Tompkins of Tustin; her children, Darlene Hymers (Brad) of Clinton, Ontario, Bill Gulutzen (Christine) of Blyth and Charles Gulutzen (Terri) of Walton, Ontario; her grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, Carson, Christopher, Mackenzie, Jacob and Erick; and her sisters, Shirley Hertlein of London, Judy Emerich of Walton and Ruthie Uyl (John) of Blyth, Ontario. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Memorial contributions in honor of Paulene may be directed to Dighton Wesleyan Church.
