He was predeceased by: his parents, Curley Jones and Margaret Jones (Ward); his sister Joanne; and his in-laws, Harry, Jean Saunders and Gordon Saunders.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jones (Saunders); his children, Marvin L. Jones (Regina) of Tustin and Amy Harkle (Steven) of Belleville; his grandchildren, Marvin R. Jones (Heather), Joseph Jones, Brittney Jones, Jesse Jones (Chelsea), Michael Jones, Stephen Harkle (Brianna) and Sophie Harkle; his great grandchildren, Edward, Paizlea, Mason, Emma, Taylor, Carter, Lilly, Hayden, Logan, Owen, Elaina, Maddison and Marvin R. Jr.; his siblings, Roger Jones, Dorothy Musgrove, Mattie Eason, Janette Watts (Tony) and Inez Clark; and his in-laws, Linda and Alton Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services (205 E Cass St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peterson Funeral & Cremation Services (205 E Cass St, Cadillac, MI 49601).
