She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Dawson; her brother Terry Dawson; and her grandparents, Coral Hierlihy, Ordon Hierlihy, Edward Dawson and Grace Dawson.
She is survived by: her husband Mark E. Kassuba; her children, Nick Kassuba (Kasey) of Lake City, Jeff Kassuba of Tustin and Lauren Rasmussen (Grant) of Oceanside, CA; her grandchildren, Ben Kassuba and Lucy Kassuba; her mother Mardell Dawson of Bellaire; and her siblings, Bill Dawson (Sue) of Bellaire and Sue Valley (Mark) of Bellaire. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
